- ​Shooting Development: We require students have taken a Holster Draw, Concealed Carry Course, or equivalent prior to attending in order for us to hit the ground running.
- ​Improvised Emergency First Aid: Whether you have prior experience with first aid or not, medical training is often overlooked. Did you know that you are more likely to encounter an accident on the side of the road as opposed to a shooting? For this reason, not only do we include a medical block of instruction, but we also go into depth on how you can apply these techniques even if you have no actual medical supplies around you!

Here is what you can expect
from the Pop-Up Event
With a large demand for a co-ed style retreat weekend, we decided that it wouldn't be fair to leave the guys hanging! These Pop-Up events were designed to be a spin off of our women's retreat. For this reason, we took the most intense parts of the retreat and consolidated it into a one day event.Â
We require those who attend to have already participated in a basic holster draw or concealed carry class, simply because we want to hit the ground running and will not have time to do more than a review of the basic fundamentals.
If you would like to stay or camp the night before, we have first come, first serve airBnB's on site depending on the location (please contact us via email with inquiries about stay options). We will meet up at the range in the morning and immediately jump into a Shooting Development Course. This includes everything from developing quicker holster draws and magazine changes, to one handed shooting, shooting positions, movement, etc. Each Pop-Up event varies slightly in order for students to attend multiple times if they wish to.
Next, you will be invited to eat lunch with the whole crew in the shaded area, so make sure to pack a lunch! Afterwards, we will dive right into our Improvised Medical Course. Here, we start with a basic review of first aid fundamentals to make sure everyone is on the same page, then we discuss alternatives in case you don't have access to medical supplies in a real emergency. Then the fun begins with live scenarios. Make sure to wear clothes you can get dirty!
This leads us to the final block of instruction, Shooting Under Stress. During this portion, students will encounter everything from physical stress to mental stress... we have a few tricks up our sleeve! We do this at the end of the day when everyone is tired, because that is a true test of ability!
This last portion of the class is mentally challenging, but those who push through it are rewarded at the end. We ensure that we are safely pushing the boundaries, because outside of the comfort zone is where the most growth occurs.
After class, the crew will head out to dinner in the local area if you would like to join!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is NOT included with my ticket?
Lodging, dinners, gear, ammunition, travel expenses, and any other associated expenses.
What if I don't have all the required gear?
After registering, we will be giving you a call to go over all gear requirements, etc. to ensure that you are set up for success. If you need to rent gear, we have a limited amount available thanks to our sponsors.
What time do we check in/out?
Check in starts at 9am and we will check out around 4pm. We would love if you stayed to grab dinner with through crew after!
Where should I stay?
Some locations offer on site lodging for an additional cost, please email us if you are interested in overnight stays.
Do I have to be religious to attend?
No! We typically go through the evangecube during lunch but it is totally optional to sit and listen to. However, we do ask that respect is shared among all students.
What are the prerequisites to attend?
You do not have to be the most skilled shooter out there to attend, we just need you to be able to draw from the holster safely, so having a concealed carry course or similar under your belt is required to attend. Send us an email with any questions or to schedule the prerequisite course with us.
